Back pain isn’t one thing. It’s usually a mix of joint restriction, disc stress, muscle tension, and irritated nerves — stacked up over time. At SDCC, we focus on reducing pressure, restoring motion, and helping your spine move the way it was built to — not masking pain and hoping.
Your spine is designed to move and absorb load. When parts stop moving well, other areas work overtime — and pain follows. into nearby nerves. That pressure is what causes pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness — not because your body is broken, but because it’s irritated.
Common Symptoms We See
This can happen in the:
Some pain is sudden. Most builds quietly over time.
Non-surgical spinal decompression when disc pressure is involved
Supportive therapies when appropriate
Back pain isn’t just “getting older.” It’s usually a sign that something isn’t moving or healing the way it should. Disc pressure, joint restriction, nerve irritation, or old injuries can all play a role. At our clinic, we focus on finding the root cause — not just masking symptoms. Through personalized treatment plans that may include decompression, adjustments, or supportive therapies, we work to reduce pressure, restore motion, and help your back function the way it was designed to.

Absolutely great experience here. Everybody is incredibly kind and welcoming. They were able to schedule me for an initial consult very quickly and I finally have a diagnosis for something that's been bothering me for over a year. Prior practitioners I've seen for the issue just brushed me off and recommended physical therapy. It was extremely refreshing to be taken seriously and having an answer is such a relief. I would highly recommend this office. They have been so great to work with.
I’ve been seeing Dr. B for about 2 months now, and have only tried the shockwave therapy (for my knees) and general chiropractic adjustments. Honest to God, my knees have never felt better (in conjunction with some at home therapies and working out) and my neck pain/discomfort went from a 7 to a 1. Outstanding work. The office staff is really sweet too.
I absolutely love this Spinal Decompression and Chiropractic Center. I came in with pain almost everywhere, headaches, and 18° scoliosis. By going every week for a few weeks, I was able to completely eliminate my scoliosis and have less headaches and pains. Every worker here has a kind and appreciative attitude no matter how early I am in the morning. (I visit right when they open!) I see Dr. Baugher and I’m pleasantly surprised every visit!
Your visit begins with a quick, free conversation with Dr. B to see if what’s going on qualifies for care in our office. If it does, we move into a thorough exam — orthopedic and neurological testing, range-of-motion checks, and on-site X-rays when needed.
Once everything’s reviewed, Dr. B walks you through what he found in simple, clear language. You’ll understand exactly what’s happening, what can help, and what your personalized treatment plan would look like. Many patients who qualify for care go on to avoid surgery long-term.
Yes. Chiropractic care is widely used for back pain and is extremely safe when tailored to the patient and condition.
Both. Many patients come in after months or years of recurring pain that never fully resolved.
Not everyone does. Decompression is recommended only when disc pressure or nerve involvement is part of the problem.
Some feel relief quickly. Others improve more gradually. We’ll set clear expectations after your exam.
