Headaches aren’t random. Most start with irritation in the neck, tension in the muscles, or stress on the nervous system — then show up as pain in the head.
Restricted neck joints, muscle tension in the shoulders, nerve irritation, poor posture, repetitive strain, and old injuries can all contribute. The pain shows up in the head — but the source is often lower, in the neck and upper spine.
Common Symptoms We See
This can happen in the:
Not all headaches are the same — and they shouldn’t be treated the same way.
Chiropractic adjustments to restore motion and reduce nerve irritation
Targeted cervical decompression when disc pressure contributes
Supportive therapies to reduce muscle tension and stress
Many headaches and migraines start in the neck. Restricted joints, muscle tension, nerve irritation, and poor posture can all trigger pain that shows up in your head. We focus on relieving pressure and restoring motion in the cervical spine so the nervous system can calm down. Through targeted adjustments and supportive therapies, we address the source — not just the symptom.

Absolutely great experience here. Everybody is incredibly kind and welcoming. They were able to schedule me for an initial consult very quickly and I finally have a diagnosis for something that's been bothering me for over a year. Prior practitioners I've seen for the issue just brushed me off and recommended physical therapy. It was extremely refreshing to be taken seriously and having an answer is such a relief. I would highly recommend this office. They have been so great to work with.
I’ve been seeing Dr. B for about 2 months now, and have only tried the shockwave therapy (for my knees) and general chiropractic adjustments. Honest to God, my knees have never felt better (in conjunction with some at home therapies and working out) and my neck pain/discomfort went from a 7 to a 1. Outstanding work. The office staff is really sweet too.
I absolutely love this Spinal Decompression and Chiropractic Center. I came in with pain almost everywhere, headaches, and 18° scoliosis. By going every week for a few weeks, I was able to completely eliminate my scoliosis and have less headaches and pains. Every worker here has a kind and appreciative attitude no matter how early I am in the morning. (I visit right when they open!) I see Dr. Baugher and I’m pleasantly surprised every visit!
Your visit begins with a quick, free conversation with Dr. B to see if what’s going on qualifies for care in our office. If it does, we move into a thorough exam — orthopedic and neurological testing, range-of-motion checks, and on-site X-rays when needed.
Once everything’s reviewed, Dr. B walks you through what he found in simple, clear language. You’ll understand exactly what’s happening, what can help, and what your personalized treatment plan would look like. Many patients who qualify for care go on to avoid surgery long-term.
Many migraines are influenced by neck tension and nerve irritation. When those factors are addressed, migraine frequency and intensity often improve.
Yes. Tension headaches are one of the most common issues we see and often respond very well to care focused on neck motion and muscle tension.
Some patients reduce their reliance on medication over time. We never tell patients to stop medication — we focus on addressing contributing causes.
Some notice changes quickly. Others improve gradually. We’ll explain realistic expectations after your exam.
